A Non-Governmental Organization, Help Without Boundaries Initiative (HWBI), has pledged to deepen its policy focus on community welfare, educational access, and primary healthcare support for vulnerable groups.
Founder of the organisation, Sir Godfrey Nnamdi Ohuabunwa, made this known in Abuja while briefing newsmen ahead of the organisation’s upcoming Morning Flight Soul-Reaching Outreach and Crusade in Port Harcourt.
Sir Ohuabunwa, a renowned broadcaster and Group Managing Director of Multimesh, said this year’s edition builds on HWBI’s long-term social development agenda, which prioritises equitable access to basic services, community empowerment, and targeted support for indigent households.
He noted that the outreach will not only feature spiritual activities but will also integrate key social intervention components — including medical services, a food bank, scholarships, and empowerment initiatives — aimed at helping communities overcome barriers linked to poverty, limited healthcare, and education.
Sir Ohuabunwa, who leads the foundation alongside his wife, Lady Angela Ohuabunwa, said the rising demand for support demonstrates the need for stronger policy attention to community-based welfare, especially in low-income environments.
He explained that HWBI’s work is guided by the principle that improving human wellbeing requires sustained collaboration, strong social structures, and responsive support systems.
According to him, this year’s outreach is expected to attract residents from within and outside the community, engaging diverse groups and strengthening grassroots participation in social development efforts.
Sir Ohuabunwa added that the programme is designed to reinforce the foundation’s commitment to long-term community engagement, social inclusion, and welfare-driven impact.
“The foundation has been operational for nearly 15 years, and its work aligns with wider national policy priorities on poverty reduction, community health awareness, and the strengthening of social support systems,” he said.

He further noted that through scholarship awards, skills empowerment initiatives, and food relief programmes, HWBI continues to support individuals and households with limited access to formal assistance.
According to him, many beneficiaries have reported academic progress and improved livelihood outcomes — indicators that reflect the initiative’s contribution to human capital development.
Help Without Boundaries Initiative is a non-governmental, non-political organisation with headquarters in Port Harcourt and an administrative base in Abuja.
