Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the lifting of the curfew earlier imposed on Owo community in Owo local government area of the State
This is contained in a statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, in Ondo State.
The statement says this follows an improvement in the security situation of the community and the peaceful conduct of residents.
According to the statement, residents of Owo can resume their daily civic activities and movement without any hindrance.
It commends the security agencies, traditional rulers, religious leaders and all other stakeholders who rose to the challenge of restoring peace and order to the community.
