Members of the Peoples Democratic Party and the Accord Party in Osun State have defected to the All Progressives Congress.
The move comes as the APC’s youth wing launched a door-to-door awareness campaign across ten local government areas of Osun West Senatorial District.
The mobilisation, led by the Senatorial Youth Leader, Hon. Imran Majeed Adekunle, and joined by senatorial aspirant Chief Peter Ogundejii, aims to boost support for the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Munirudeen Oyebamiji, ahead of the August 8, 2026 election.
Chief Ogundejii praised the candidate as credible and people-focused, urging party members to sustain grassroots engagement, participate in voter registration, and support the youth-driven campaign.
At Isokan, APC leaders inaugurated Door-to-Door Campaign Committees to further strengthen mobilisation and prayed for the success of the party’s governorship candidate.
