The Plateau Vanguard for Democracy (PVD) has praised the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, for his leadership and personal commitment to Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s second-term campaign.
In a statement, PVD described Yilwatda’s efforts to unite both new and old party members as a demonstration of humility, statesmanship, and inclusive politics.
The group said the move signals stability and cohesion within the APC at a time when Plateau State faces security challenges and developmental setbacks.
PVD urged supporters of the governor to cooperate with the party’s national leadership, emphasizing that unity is key to sustaining progress, combating criminality, and ensuring peace and development in the state.
The group called on all stakeholders, including political leaders, youth, women, traditional institutions, and civil society, to work together for a secure and prosperous Plateau.
