The embattled National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu has dissagreed with the governors in the party over their position at the meeting held in Asaba, Delta state.
At their meeting, the PDP Governors Forum led by Senator Bala Mohammed of Bauchi resolved to stand by a court of appeal in Enugu ruling which ousted Anyanwu and declared Mr. Sunday Udo-Okoye as the authentic national secretary of the party.
The pronouncement has since polarised the party further, as both are currently engaged in superiority fights over who should operate as the party’s scribe .

Senator Anyanwu has therefore petitioned the Inspector General of Police, describing the governors stance as an invitation to chaos and an affront on the rule of law.
Senator Anyanwu in the petition entitled: “Security Alert” also copied the President of the Court of Appeal, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, the Commandant, Nigerian Civil Defence Corps and the Director of the Department of State Service DSS.
“The police should be aware that an appeal has been filed at the supreme court against the quoted judgement” he added.
