Yobe State Government has commenced a three-day workshop aimed at enhancing the capacity of information officers across ministries, departments, and agencies.
The State Commissioner, Ministry of Home Affairs, Information, and Culture, Alh Abdullahi Bego stressed that the training is to teach them best practices in communicating government activities to the public.
Alh. Bego thanked the resource persons for imparting great knowledge and inspiring the participants during the workshop.
He also expressed gratitude to Governor Mai Mala Buni for supporting the initiative.

The workshop features expert resource persons from reputable institutions and covers areas such as effective information dissemination and media engagement.
It is designed to improve the relationship between the government and the public, promote transparency, and ensure better communication.
Participants are expected to gain valuable skills and knowledge, becoming proficient in their roles across all media platforms.
