President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Abagun Kole Omololu, a senior chieftain of the Yoruba socio-political group Afenifere, on his 70th birthday, celebrating his contributions to nation-building and Yoruba heritage.
In a message marking the milestone, President Tinubu praised Omololu’s integrity, loyalty, and commitment to democracy, good governance, and the advancement of unity in Yorubaland.
The President highlighted Omololu’s historic role with NADECO Abroad, advocating internationally for the recognition of June 12 and the end of military rule in Nigeria.
He remains a respected member of Idile Odua and a principled leader within Afenifere.
President Tinubu noted Omololu’s steadfast support for Baba Fasoranti’s leadership in Afenifere and his continued backing of the Renewed Hope administration.
The President commended Omololu for his enduring advocacy for democratic values, policy reforms, and socio-political development in the Yoruba region.
He prayed for long life, divine grace, and wisdom for Omololu as he celebrates three scores and ten, encouraging continued engagement in national development.
