The Acting National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Prof. Sadiq Umar Abubakar has expressed shock over the demise of Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
A statement signed by him in Abuja describes the late Dantata as a legendary figure in Nigeria’s business sector and one of the last great industrialists of his generation in Africa.
According to the statement, Alhaji Dantata’s legacy is profoundly woven into the tapestry of Nigeria’s economic history.
“The entire SDP Family in Nigeria and beyond expresses our heartfelt condolences on the Demise of our Father, Leader and Mentor, Alhaji Aminu Dantata”.
“His visionary leadership and dedication to fostering enterprise development established a foundation for numerous successful businesses and entrepreneurs”.
The statement explains that through his mentorship and investment in human potential, he inspired and guided countless individuals, many of whom have become leaders in their own right.
“His passing is a significant loss, not only for his family and the people of Kano State but for the entire nation. His contributions to commerce, philanthropy, and national progress will serve as a guiding light for many generations to come.
The statement prays Allah to forgive him, accept all the contributions, sacrifices, and support he rendered to humanity and, in particular, to the Muslim Ummah.
