The Forum of State Chairmen of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, has congratulated the party’s leadership and members nationwide on the Supreme Court judgment in favour of the party.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Hon. Femi Olaniyi, the Forum described the ruling as a major boost that will further strengthen the SDP across the country.
Olaniyi commended the National Working Committee for what he called its “resolute unity of purpose,” adding that the judgment is a shared victory for all members.
The Forum also expressed special appreciation to former presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, for his unwavering support — both financially and physically — throughout the legal process.
Hon. Olaniyi praised the commitment of elected SDP members nationwide, saying the judgment has renewed confidence within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He encouraged party members to remain focused and begin full mobilisation without distractions, stressing that the ruling has cleared the way for more strategic political engagement.
According to the Forum, SDP is now better positioned to expand its influence, and state chairmen stand ready to continue supporting the party’s growth and success.
