The Federal government has inaugurated the newly constructed Ultra Modern General Hospital and other projects in Okpoko ,Ogbaru local government area.
Minister of Health , Professor Ali Pate, who performed the ceremony commended Governor Soludo for transforming the state in all sectors of the economy and extolled his visionary leadership style.
He expressed happiness over what he described as an overwhelming transformation in Okpoko area adding that he had initially witnessed the area’s slum state.
Other projects inaugurated included the desilting of drainage Channels and Clearing of Sacamori Canal ,Installation of Solar powered Streetlights, water project and the a 15km road project .
On his part, Governor Chukwuma Soludo explained that what was once known as the biggest urban slum in the South East three years ago has now experienced all-round transformation through his administration.

The Governor who assured the people of more dividends of democracy reiterated commitment towards improving the overall quality of life and economic prosperity of the state into a liveable and prosperous homeland.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Health, Doctor Afam Obidike, praised the governor for adequately equipping the facility with manpower and laboratory tools.
The residents commended Governor Soludo’s transformational efforts in the area including his administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic growth.
