The Opposition Coalition has alleged that there is underground plot to abort the next month People’s Democratic Party PDP NEC through Court injunction.
The Spokesperson of the Opposition Coalition and member representing Ideato Federal Constituency of Imo State Ikenga Ugochinyere, in a World News Conference at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja, said those behind the plan armed in the PDP to ensure that the Party remain destabilized and couldn’t function effectively as an opposition party.
Mr. Ugochinyere called on the members of BoT to remain firm in protecting the interest party against the saboteurs who are bent in destroying PDP.
On the Supreme Court Judgment concerning Rivers State House of Assembly, the Opposition Coalition said no Supreme Court judgement had been delivered against the governor of Rivers of state, Siminalayi Fubara as it was being made believe by some elements.
Clarifying the judgement, the opposition lawmakers said contrary insinuations and rumour churned out in certain quarters, Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Oko Jumbo was still in charge and control of the legislature in Rivers State.
According to Ugochinyere, Fubara did not lose any case at Supreme court, but he withdrew his appeal over 2024 budget which was already executed which the court subsequently struck out.
