The suspected killer of a Youth Corp member Salome Adaidu who was recently paraded by the Nasarawa State Police Command, Timileyin Ajayi has appeared before a Lafia High court presided by Justice Simon Aboki.
Ajayi a thirty-two Year old Gospel music singer was arraigned on a one count charge of Culpable Homicide punishable with death.
At the administrative arraignment, Justice Aboki ordered that the suspect be remanded in a correctional facility in Lafia as he could not take his plea owing to the absence of a counsel.
Justice Aboki therefore adjourned the matter to the twenty seventh of this month.
Timileyin Ajayi last weekend killed Salome Adaidu and cut her body into pieces but luck ran out of him as he was arrested by the police.
The victim Salome Adaidu who was twenty-four years old before her death was a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC attached to Nicon Insurance in Abuja.
Meanwhile, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police Ramhan Nansel has dismissed the rumor that Timileyin Ajayi is dead describing it as untrue.
