President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s Commitment to transform Nigeria into a global energy power house.
He stated this at the 8th Nigeria International energy summit NIES in Abuja.
President Tinubu who was represented by the Minister of state Finance Dr, Doris Uzoka Anita emphasized the need for strategic reforms innovative policies and sustainable development to drive this vision.
The Minister of state Petroleum Resources oil Mr. Heineken LOKPOBIRI and his Counterpart the minister of state Petroleum Resources Gas Mr, Ekperikpo Ekpo, underscored the need for industry players to take advantage of the summit as a platform to harness Africa’s vast natural Gas resources and enhance energy security in the Continent.
In his presentation, the OPEC Secretary- General, Mr. Haitham Al Ghais, pledged to collaborate closely with Federal Government of Nigeria to global transition towards cleaner energy solutions.
