Minister of Works, David Umahi, has declared that his political influence has grown significantly since his tenure as governor of Ebonyi State.
Speaking at a community gathering in Ebonyi, Umahi claimed that his current capacity to serve his people is now “10 times” greater than when he was governor, adding that he is now “more dangerous” in his ability to deliver significant projects.
Flanked by his son, Osborne Umahi, who recently secured the APC nomination for Ohazora local government chairmanship, Umahi urged residents to support him and ignore detractors.
He promised to meet the needs of the community, particularly calling on the industrious youth of Onicha Igboeze to present their ideas and requirements.
Umahi’s bold remarks have sparked widespread attention, with a viral video of his speech drawing both support and criticism from the public.
