The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, has pledged his support for the Naija Creates project, emphasizing that all hands must be on deck for the nation’s economy to be transformed.
According to him, Naija Creates, an initiative championed by the CEO of Ebony Life Group, Mo Abudu, has the potential to become Nigeria’s flagship cultural diplomacy project, showcasing the country’s tourism, arts, music, fashion, and more on the global stage.

The Vice President assured that his office would support the project in all its aspects.
He commended Abudu for her efforts and contributions to the development of Nigeria’s entertainment industry, noting that there are numerous positives about the country that should be shared with the international community.
Describing the Naija Creates project as a platform to promote the Tinubu administration’s economic diversification agenda, Senator Shettima said the program should be Nigeria’s collective effort to showcase the country’s potential in the creative sector.
He also invited Abudu to join the federal government’s iDICE team and lend her expertise to help achieve the administration’s goals in the technology and creative sectors.
Earlier in her remarks, Mo Abudu stated that Naija Creates is an initiative designed to export and celebrate excellence within Nigeria’s creative sector, including film, arts, food, music, and fashion.
She explained that the project would provide a safe space to launch the process of exporting Nigeria’s vast creative talents to the global stage.
Abudu solicited the support and partnership of the federal government, through its agencies and collaborators, to ensure the initiative’s success.
She added that in the summer of 2025, the Naija Creates initiative would debut in the United Kingdom, showcasing talents in food, music, film, fashion, and the arts.
