Governor Dauda Lawal has ban all political activities or rallies across state till further notice.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast Media, Press and Public Affairs to the Governor, Mustapha Jafaru Kaura in Gusau.
It says decision follows the security situation in the state and with the recent security breach in Maru local government area.
“Political season has not yet started in the country hence the need by the state government to ban all the political activities”
It directs security agencies in the state to crackdown on any politician or group of politicians that failed to comply with the directives.
The statement emphasizes that the ban is with immediate effect.
