The Zamfara State government is to partner a Chinese firms to deploy advanced surveillance technology to enhance agriculture, transportation, and mining sectors.
Governor Dauda Lawal stated this during a meeting with a delegation from the Chinese business community at the Government House in Gusau.
Dr. Lawal explained that the partnership stemmed from his recent working visit to China to explore opportunities for collaboration in critical sectors.
According to him, the state government has partnered Zhong Zhao International Group, a company specializing in organic fertilizers and mechanized farming.
“As part of our agreement, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to train local farmers in organic farming practices, introduce advanced machinery, and establish organic fertilizer plants in Zamfara,” the governor stated”

Dr. Lawal expressed his appreciation for the commitment of the Chinese firms to ensuring the success of the partnership.
Earlier, the Secretary to the Zamfara State Government, Mallam Abubakar Nakwada, who was part of the delegation to China, highlighted the achievements of the trip.
