The Kano State government has urged the Nigerian Army’s 3 Brigade to work in synergy with other security agencies to ensure the sustenance of peace in the state.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stated this during the West African Social Activities (WASA) event hosted by the Commander of the 3 Brigade Infantry, Nigerian Army, at the Bukavu Barracks, Kano.

The Governor represented by the Director General Special Service, AVM Ibrahim Umaru, RTD, commended the Brigade’s contributions to maintaining peace and tranquility in the state, acknowledging that their efforts cannot be taken for granted.
He tasked the command to take their primary duty to Kano state and its environs seriously, appreciating their unwavering loyalty, sacrifices, and hard work.
Governor Yusuf emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Army and other security agencies to bring peace and harmony to the state.
He expressed pride in Kano being one of the safest states in the nation, attributing this to the joint efforts of all security agencies.
He assured the Nigerian Army of maximum support at all times, appreciating the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General OO Oluyede, and other military personnel.
Governor Yusuf also reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening existing cordial relationships with the military.
