The Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kwara, Right Reverend Sunday Timothy Adewole, has called on Nigerians to trust in God, hard work to improve the nation’s fortunes in 2025.
Bishop Adewole made the call in his New Year message at the Cathedral of Saint Barnabas, in Ilorin.
He emphasized the importance of divine guidance, unity, and a balanced lifestyle for national progress.
According to him this year may not be better than last year if we don’t hang everything in the hands of the Lord.
Bishop Adewole who said there is the need for Nigerians to have a total overhaul in the way they live, added that everyone should live moderately, trust the Lord, love one another and work towards unity.
He advised Nigerians to combine faith with productivity, cautioning against idleness while stressing that God values hard work.
