The Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has appealed to aggrieved citizens to use the Birth of Jesus Christ to reconcile with one another for peace to reign supreme in the country.
In his Christmas message at the Cathedral Church of Advent Life Camp Abuja, Most Reverend Ndukuba said the birth of Jesus brought hope reconciliation and great Joy to mankind.
He said though, the present global challenges was bitting hard on citizens hence the need for Nigerians to remain optimistic and live peaceful with one another.
The Anglican Primate however cautioned Nigerians to celebrate Christmas in moderation, avoid sinful activities and resist temptation that could hinder the purpose of God for their lives.
The Christmas service featured special prayers for Divine intervention in the affairs of the Country.
At the, First Baptist Church Garki Abuja, Reverend Tom Takpatore wants Nigerians to put their hope and trust in God for Divine solution to challenges in the country.
Reverend Takpatore in his Christmas message said the birth of Jesus Christ has brought light, peace and hope to humanity.
He implored Christain not to give up but be selfless and reach out to the needy during the Christmas and New Year festivities.
The General secretary, North Central of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Dr Simon Dolly appealed to Nigerians to remain supportive to the Present administration’s Economic Policy which he believes would begin to yield positive results very soon.
Dr Dolly who is also a Federal Commissioner at the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission assured that better days are ahead for the Nigerians and the country.
Also, The Methodist Archbishop of Abuja, Most Reverend Michael Akinwande has appealed to Nigerians to stop making negative reports about the country.
Addressing the congregation during a Christmas Service at the Cathedral of Unity Wuse Abuja, Most Reverend Michael Akinwande said there was need for Nigerians to work together in making the country Great again stressing the need for citizens to remain patriotic.
According to the Archbishop, the birth of Jesus Christ has renewed the hope of Nigerians that the country will continue to remain indivisible despite its challenges.
The Lay President of the Methodist ArcDiocese of Abuja, Retiried Air vice Marshal Kayode Beckley passionately appealed to men not to shy away from their responsibilities in providing for their homes.
Air vice Marshal Beckley noted that the on-going policy of President Bola Tinubu would reposition the country for great.
