The 8 Division Nigerian Army Sokoto have embarked on a five day activities known as Operation Planning Cadre, aimed at educating Officers and Warrant Officers on combat rudiment and techniques to enable them perform their task effectively.
In an opening remarks, the General Officer, Commanding the Division and Commander Sector 2 Operation Fansan Yamma, Major General Ibikunle Ajose said the annual event was designed to equipped the participants with the needed problems solving guidelines and working gears for effective combat operations.
He said the move would provide Commanders with the required leadership skills which is crucial in all military operations.
The GOC said the theme of this year’s Operation Planning Cadre is authentic leadership at all levels of Command and a pre requisite for enhanced operational effectiveness.
Major General Ajose noted that the 2025 activities will contribute towards achieving the chief of army staff Command and philosophy aimed at consolidating the transformation of the Nigerian Army towards achieving its mandate.
