Onyeme had in an interview with journalists during the visit, said the state government was touched by the unfortunate incident and gave an assurance that the state government would support the families of the deceased as well as those receiving treatment at the hospital.
The husband to one of those who got burnt in the inferno, Elder Festus Adomugbor, expressed surprise that the Delta State government could act promptly to identify with them.
He appreciated Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori for the prompt action stressing that there was nothing any person could do to bring his wife back to life.
