Federal Government has commended Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state for the completion of ninety seven percent of inherited road projects from the previous administration in the state.
The Minister of Defence, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar stated this while speaking in Auyo town during the launching of the newly citizens engagement program tagged Government and the people in Jigawa state.
Badaru who was highly impressed, said the state government completed twenty three out twenty six inherited road projects.
He noted that the remaining three road projects are in completion stages for the benefit of the people and economic growth of the state.
He further explained that the present administration will bring more developmental projects, hence the need to give all the necessary support and cooperation to the state government to meet yearnings and aspiration of the people.

On his part, the Governor of Jigawa state, Umar Namadi said the present administration has selected over one thousand and eighty schools to benefit from the educational development program in partnership with the New Globe.
According to him, wenty two schools were selected in Auyo local government area aimed at improving teaching and learning in public schools.
Namadi pointed out that, his administration has introduce series of policy and programs under the twelve point agenda for the attainment of Greater jigawa.
Also speaking, the Senator representing Jigawa North-West senatorial district, Ambassador Ahmed Madori said the newly introduced program will bring people more closer to the government as well as executing projects that would make impact lives of the citizens.
