The Nigerian Export Promotion Zone Authority has generated the sum of over one point eight Billion Naira as revenue from January 2024 to date.
The Managing Director of the Agency Alhaji Mu’azu Sahabi stated this during an investors – stakeholders forum in Kano.
He said the objectives of the stakeholders meeting was to brainstorm on how to move the free trade zone forward.
The Direction General noted that the meeting would fine tune modalities and ideas to collaborate towards achieving set objectives.
“We want investors to understand that this is an industrial area, and they can establish enterprise so that our youths will be employed”
Alhaji Sahabi added that this is the first time in history the agency is generating over one point eight Billion Naira as revenue in the last Eleven Months.
An agro export Marchant, Mr Phrabu Dorai and a producer of various export materials Alhaji adulrasheed Nasidi applauded the commitment of NEPZA in providing enabling environment for investors, stressing that they’ve provided over three thousand jobs.
The meeting was attended by investors,industrialist , security and other stakeholders.
