The National Rescue Movement has disassociated the party from the viral online registration of members into the party by one Mr. Gambo Daniels and some faceless others.
This is contained in a statement signed by the National Chairman of Party, Ambassador Isaac Chigozie Udeh in Abuja.
The statement explains that the leadership of the party is not aware nor issue any approval to that regard.
“Our party, National Rescue Movement-NRM National leadership is not aware of this, and we don’t know anything about it” Ambassador Udeh stressed.
According to the statement the publication in question, which includes a registration link and bank account details, is not sanctioned by the NRM.
The NRM urges the public to disregard the publication and do not to make any payments to the specified bank account adding that the party is investigating this matter and will take necessary actions to prevent such unauthorized activities in the future.
It states that for authentic information on NRM membership registration, please contact the party’s official representatives or visit the NRM website.
The statement therefore warns those behind the act to desist from such scam or face legal action
“Whoever is involved is this scam should desist from such or risk prosecution” Ambassador Udeh emphasizes.
