The National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Senator Seriake Dickson, has urged party stakeholders in Kogi State to intensify mobilisation efforts as part of moves to strengthen the party’s presence ahead of future political engagements.
Senator Dickson stated this during a meeting with stakeholders from Kogi Central led by the gubernatorial aspirant, Mr. Mukhtar Salawu Audu, alongside senatorial aspirant, Mr Mukhtar Sani-Omolori, and the pro-tem state party chairman, Mr. Monday Onate in Abuja.
The NDC leader noted that the visit was part of ongoing consultations with party members and supporters nationwide.
He said Kogi State has shown encouraging progress, particularly in membership registration, establishment of party offices, and the commitment of stakeholders to building the party’s structure.
Dickson called on party leaders and aspirants in the state to sustain the momentum through grassroots engagement, stressing that collective effort is key to achieving the party’s objectives.
He commended the growing support for the party across the state.
Responding on behalf of the delegation, House of Representatives aspirant, Dr. Hope Omeiza, appreciated the reception and assured that stakeholders in Kogi Central would continue to work towards strengthening the party’s base in the state.
Similarly, another gubernatorial aspirant, Mr. Moukhtar Mohammed, reaffirmed the commitment of party supporters in Kogi to the NDC, expressing confidence in the party’s growing acceptance among the people.

The meeting also featured participation from young party members and aspirants for House of Representatives seats in Okene/Ogori-Magongo and Adavi/Okehi federal constituencies, who expressed support for the party’s leadership and direction.
