NDC Unveils Zonal Vice Chairmen As Party Strengthens National Structure

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has released the full list of its newly appointed National Vice Chairmen across the six geopolitical zones,
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the National Chairman, Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe, and the National Secretary, Mr. Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu, in Abuja.
The statement explains that the aim is to reinforce the party’s organisational structure ahead of its congresses and national convention.
According to the statement, the appointed National Vice Chairmen are North-West: Mohammed Bakin Zuwa,
North-East: Dr. Danlami Arabs, South-South, Mr. Frederick Owotorufa, South-East, Chief Teddy Obey North-Central, Chief Barnabas Ejisi and South-West, Mrs. Adedayo Ekong
It states that the zoning arrangement reflects NDC’s commitment to inclusive representation and its drive to deepen political engagement nationwide.
The statement notes that the new zonal officers will play key roles in strengthening grassroots coordination, mobilising support, and ensuring effective party administration across their respective regions.
It emphasises that these appointments are part of ongoing internal reforms geared toward building a responsive, service-driven political organisation.
