Former National Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) and ex-presidential candidate of the Progressives Peoples Alliance (PPA), has formally joined the National Democratic Coalition (NDC), citing the need to rescue Nigeria from worsening economic hardship and uncertainty.
Announcing his decision, in Abuja, Ameh said the country was passing through a difficult period marked by rising insecurity, unemployment, and widespread hardship.
He stressed that patriotic Nigerians must unite to build a credible democratic alternative capable of restoring hope among citizens.
The former two-term National Chairman of PPA noted that his decision to join the NDC was driven by his commitment to strengthening democracy, promoting accountable leadership, and advancing national development.
According to him, the NDC offers a platform for constructive engagement, people-oriented governance, and leadership built on accountability, prudence, and compassion.
Ameh also pledged to work with progressive-minded Nigerians and the leadership of the party to deepen democratic values, strengthen national unity, and improve the welfare of ordinary citizens.
