Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra state has been commended for completing the 16.4-kilometre Nawfija–Ajali–Ufuma–Ogbunka Road in Orumba South Local Government Area of the state
The Vice President of Boardwalk Group, Mrs. Obiageli Okwubanego stated this while addressing newsmen in Abuja.
According to her, the project has brought major relief to residents and road users.

Okwubanego described the road as a major infrastructure achievement that has reduced travel time and eased movement across the affected communities.
She said the road now serves as an alternative route for motorists seeking to avoid congestion around Umunze Roundabout.
According to her, travellers heading to parts of and can now access the route more easily.
Okwubanego noted that the project would encourage more visits during Christmas, Easter, weddings and other social events.
She added that the improved road has boosted movement of goods and services, especially farm produce from communities along the corridor.
According to her, the area is known for palm oil production, and the better road network will support local farmers and traders.
She also said easier access to the Ozi Stream would increase fishing, irrigation and other commercial activities.

Okwubanego described the project as part of Governor Soludo’s wider infrastructure and economic development agenda.
She further noted that some communities along the road had never enjoyed a tarred road before the present administration.

She said, residents are hopeful that the new road will attract more investment and improve living conditions in the area.
