A public affairs analyst, Tari Oba, has successfully defended his doctoral thesis in Peace and Conflict / Security and Strategic Studies, describing the achievement as a call to greater responsibility in promoting peace and nation building.
Oba said the academic journey was driven by a desire to deepen understanding of conflict management, leadership and national development.
According to him, the pursuit of the doctorate required years of research, study and extensive travel in search of knowledge and broader perspectives.
He noted that leadership is shaped through years of learning, discipline and commitment to a cause greater than personal recognition.
Oba expressed gratitude to God for sustaining him throughout the rigorous academic process.
He also acknowledged the support of his family, particularly his children, whom he said remain a source of inspiration.
The scholar further paid tribute to his late father for laying the foundation that continues to guide his personal and professional journey.
