The Governor of Anambra state and national leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA , Professor Chukwuma Soludo says the party is open to alliance with any of the political parties that truly pursues a progressive ideology.
Governor Soludo stated this at National Executive Council, NEC meeting of APGA in Abuja held to celebrate the judicial victory of the National Working Commitee, NWC over a faction led Mr. Edozie Njoku.
The Governor who described APGA as the foremost progressive movement in Nigeria said that having received the validation from the courts, the party was now poised to attain greater heights.
He commended President Bola Tinubu for the appointment of a member of the party, Mrs Bianca Ojukwu as Minister of State Foreign Affairs.
The National Chairman of the party, Mr. Sylvester Ezeokenwa said that APGA was being transformed into new party and urged agrieved members to return to the fold.
Present at the NEC meeting which was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission were Mrs Bianca Ojukwu, members of the NWC, the Senator representing Abia South Enyinnaya Abaribe, members of the House of Representatives, including Mr. Mascot Ikwechegh, House of Assembly members and other party chieftains from various states.
